On October 13, 2018, Winhealth Group Pharma participated in the 2018 'Rainbow Program', completed on-site pairing in the name of the company, aided 18 underprivileged children in its first action, helped them realize their dreams of going to school and brought social warmth and care to the poor families.
The 'Rainbow Program' is an annual large-scale philanthropic study-aid campaign organized by Zhejiang Television Channel 6 in conjunction with China Zheshang Bank and Charity Foundation of Zhejiang every winter. Since 2007, the 'Rainbow Program' has provided assistance to primary and secondary school students in poor mountainous areas inside and outside Zhejiang Province in the form of long-term pairing subsidy to cover their study and living expenses.
The 2018 'Rainbow Program' was held at West Lake Cultural Square in Hangzhou. The campaign aimed to transmit love to more regions and families, such as Xinjiang, Gansu, Guizhou, Sichuan and other places, so that more children in poverty-stricken areas can feel social care and receive support and help.
At the scene, each 'Application for Funding for Children in Difficulty' posted by the staff gave a detailed introduction to the children's family and study conditions. Most of them are diligent and studious, and try their best to share the housework for their families in their spare time of study. However, the low income and illness of their families have beset their life and study. Therefore, every help from society may bring hope to the children and their families.
After some investigation, we chose 18 children from difficult families to pair on the spot, provided them with aid to cover their study and living expenses, helped them finish their study better and reduce the burden on their families.
Participating in the 'Rainbow Program' for the first time, Winhealth Group took another step forward on the road of philanthropy.
